Tell me what the work is.

For a first assessment I need the programme, the intended timeframe and whatever question is currently open.

Email

Direct, no form.

Email is simpler for both sides — and spares you consent to a data processing operation nobody needs.

Working together

Three steps to getting started.

No form, no detour. Billed at a day rate, with a budget cap on request.

  1. Enquiry

A short email: the programme, the timeframe and the question that is open right now. I usually reply within one working day.

  2. Free first call

Thirty minutes, free of charge and without obligation, to understand the situation and the goal. Then an honest assessment and a proposal for scope.

  3. Start

A deliberately short first engagement, so that both sides can judge the collaboration against a real result.

Terms

The essentials up front.

  • Location — Berlin; remote and on site, across Germany and Europe
  • Languages — German, English
  • Billing — day rate against recorded project days; fixed price possible for clearly bounded work packages
  • Cost certainty — on request an effort estimate with a budget cap, only exceeded after written approval
  • Confidentiality — clients and project content are never named publicly; NDA as a matter of course

Common questions

Briefly answered.

What does the first call cost?

Nothing. The first call takes about thirty minutes and is free of charge and without obligation. Costs only arise once work is commissioned in writing.

When are you available?

Immediately. I am not bound by any notice period and can start at short notice — including with a first, deliberately small work package.

Do you work remotely or on site?

Both. I am based in Berlin and work across Germany and elsewhere in Europe. How much presence is needed depends on the programme, not on a rule.

How do you bill?

A day rate against recorded project days. Where you need cost certainty, I set an effort estimate with a budget cap that is only exceeded after written approval. For clearly bounded work packages a fixed price is also possible.

Do you take on parts of a programme rather than the whole?

Yes. Common shapes are an interface concept, preparing an ISO 27001 audit, building a reporting framework, or taking over a programme that has lost its footing.

Why don't you name clients?

Because confidentiality obligations from previous projects bind me. In conversation I can place work in context without naming clients or disclosing confidential content — and the same confidentiality then applies to you.
